Every aspiring internet marketer needs a role model. There are many internet marketing “gurus” on the internet right now. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just ok. Some are ethical, some are not, and some believe as long as no one is “hurt” it’s ok. Some make millions from their homes with little more than a virtual assistant or two as staff. Some of them have 50, 100, or more working for them all over the world. There are even the gurus who profess to be “non-gurus”. But, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck. If you’ve been poking around internet marketing for any length of time you will begin to recognize various gurus and their styles.
It is important to find a guru that you can follow and work with initially. Someone who you can model yourself after.
Jimmy D. Brown is one guru who is good at teaching internet marketing. Why is he good? He’s good because he writes his material in such a way that you feel he’s talking to you personally as one good friend to another. His writing has a very intimate feeling to it.
